Ann is a partner with the firm of Salo & Walker in Atlanta, and practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, charitable planning, fiduciary litigation and estate and gift tax.

Ann is a graduate of Purdue University (B.A., 1969), George Washington University Law School (J.D., 1972), and received an L.L.M. in Taxation from Emory University School of Law (1976).

Prior to founding Salo & Walker in 1995, Ann practiced with the Atlanta firms of Long, Aldridge & Norman, heading up their trust and estate practice group, Grenwald & Salo, and Hansell & Post.  She is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (State Chair, 2001-2006), a past chair of the Fiduciary Section of the State Bar of Georgia and a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Emory University Law School.  Her textbook Estate Planning was published by the Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Cannon Financial Institute.  Ann is a past President of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the State Bar of Georgia Fiduciary Section (Member, Probate Code Revision Committee, Guardianship Code Revision Committee and Trust Code Revision Committee).  Ann is listed in Whos Who In American Law; Whos Who in America and The Best Lawyers In America.  Ann is a past President and Member of the Executive Committee of the Atlanta Humane Society Board of Directors.  Ann is a 1982 graduate of Leadership Atlanta and a recipient in 1984 of The Ten Outstanding Young Atlantans Award for her professional and community service.
